The Album 'How you've been (all this time)?" of the scottish folk duo Doghouse Roses offers an impressing symbiotic mixture of all kinds of british treasury of songs and their recreation.
Guitar player Paul Tasker invents a varied selection of melodies
and rhythmic figures, which artful structure alone already offers an
incidence of it's own.
Garnished and preciously equipped by Iona Macdonald's magically voice, who
precisely places her spectre and variety of phrasing into, the songs with an
extensive perspective, perfect in form. The lyrics on 'How've You Been' are suitable
for all, who don't listen with their ears alone.
It must have been musically harvesting time at the Doghouse Roses, otherwise
they would not have been able to pour out such an cornucopia(/horn of
plenty)of euphony over their listeners so lavishly.
Conclusion:If there were a society of the promotion for Doghouse Roses, I
would propose for the membership immediately.Explicit recommendation!
